I have been working with technology for awhile in my classroom. I love how it helps even the playing field for students. I am struggling to keep up with the apps on the ipads and all the different technology for me to use in the classroom. I have tried and started lots of things but just struggle to keep up with it all.
I need to work on managing my online reputation. I have lots of things that I have looked at or signed up for but don't use. I am working on building my PLN through conferences. I use Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and Google Reader to help stay up to date with ideas.
I am always trying something new and it doesn't always work. The best part is that I have students and staff in my room that are willing to try with me and give me feedback when it doesn't work.
You are not the only one struggling to keep up with all the new tech coming our way. I am always feeling behind on new things. The great thing is that you are open to trying new things. That, in my opinion, is more then half the battle. You are clearly on the right track because you are using so many helps to improve you knowledge and get more ideas.
ReplyDeleteThanks Amber! Sometimes I just need to hear that,
DeleteBecky, You always do a great job of finding new things and trying them. You find the things that work and if they don't you move on. I think that is one of the points of the article.
